Amada Chipbreaker - M-42 Patented Gullet Design For Rapid Cutting
For purchase information click on product "Name" link above.
Product Specifications & Information:
Chipbreaker's
unique tooth form was designed to reduce heat generation at increased
chip loads. With reduced tooth stripping and breaking this equates to
the lowest possible cost per square inch of metal cutting. Chipbreaker
comes in two distinct tooth forms for varied cutting applications.
The 2.5/3.5 pitch is a standard variable tooth design and can be used
for general purpose cutting. The 1.1/1.5, 2/3, and 3/4 are a variable
Hi-Lo tooth form which gives optimum performance on solid materials.
Note: The variable Hi-Lo (VHL) tooth form is not recommended for
cutting bundled materials, structurals, pipe or tubing.
M-42 High speed steel edge (HRC 68/69)
Reduced heat generation at increased chip loads
Prevents scoring on gullet surfaces and reduces chip welding
Higher cutting rates with increased blade life
Reduced tooth stripping and blade breakage
